    Chief Deborah Hayes-Price at her swearing in River Rouge. She was the first African American women to serve as Chief of Police. Chief Price was 66 years old and has been with the police department since 1990. She worked her way up from through the ranks. She started off as Corporal and was appointed to Chief in 2015.
