History of BLESSFEST:
BLESSFEST was birthed in 2011 with the unification of many Downriver churches partnering together through a movement in the Detroit Metro area called EACH. From 2011-2014, BLESSFEST connected scores of nonprofit agencies, medical services, employers and faith based organizations in partnership. BLESSFEST 2011-2014 provided nearly 3,000 community residents with free medical care, job opportunities and connections to free programs and services. BLESSFEST also provided participants with an opportunity to receive spiritual support from local pastors of Downriver churches.
