36th Annual African World Festival

The Annual African World Festival will be held this weekend at the Charles H. Wright Museum. It will feature performances, poetry, arts and crafts, African drumming and dance, vendors and ethnic foods.

There will be more than 150 vendors with import and visual arts, handcrafted items, apparel, accessories and foods for the attendees to purchase and to learn about.

This is a perfect way to celebrate the cultures of the African Diaspora while chronicling another African World Festival in Detroit.

The festival is from 11 am - 11 pm each day. The Charles Wright Museum is located at 315 East Warren Avenue • Detroit, MI 48201.
