25th District Court Announce AMNESTY Program

Parking and Civil Infraction tickets included

The 25th District Court is currently offering an amnesty program for eligible defendants. The program will allow defendants to pay fine associated with unpaid parking tickets and civil infraction that were issued from Jan 1st 2015 to April 20th 2020. Any default fees, showcause fees, bench warrant fees, late fees and/or penalties will be waived during the amnesty period. The program will be available from May 1st 2020 to June 30th 2020 and comes in response to the economic hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Fees must be paid in full by June 30th 2020 in order to take advantage of this offer.

If a driver's license was suspended for a failure to pay, a $45 clearance fee will still apply in order to have the suspension removed. The clearance fee is imposed by the Michigan Secretary of State, not the District Courts. Eligible cases for amnesty can be found on the court's record search by either case number or Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial commas ARE required for the search.

As a result of the state of emergency, the court cannot presently accept in-person payments. Payments can be made online, by phone or by mail.

Please mail any Personal/Cashier's Checks or money orders to 25th District Court, 1475 Cleophus Parkway, Lincoln Park, MI 48146. They should also be made payable to the 25th District Court.

The 25th District Court is pleased to offer a free, voluntary, online traffic ticket review process for eligible traffic tickets issued by the City of Lincoln Park Police Department, The City of Ecorse Police Department and the City of River Rouge Police Department. This allows you to request a review of your traffic ticket online, at your convenience, so you don't have to come to the courthouse.

Shortly after you submit certain information, the respective prosecutor will evaluate your eligibility to participate in this new program. Once you are deemed eligible to participate, you can sign up to receive emails or text messages with the status of your review as well as the outcome. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will be offered a 'no-points' violation.
