Serving Metropolitan Detroit Since 1944
Time is running out for you to do your part in helping your community. Sept. 30 is the last day for households and census takers, who have been reaching out to those who haven’t responded, to submit their information. We need everyone to be counted this year. These numbers will determine how much funding each city gets for the next ten (10) years.
The numbers also will determine how the elected seats are determined for State Legislature, County Commission and U. S. Congress.
We won’t have time for a do over. Now is your chance to do your part. If you were alive on April 1, 2020 and living in the United States, then you need to be counted in the 2020 Census for the address where you were living.
If you or someone you know has yet to fill out their household’s census form, it can be completed online at http://www.2020census.gov, over the phone by calling 844-330-2020 or by mailing in the paper census form that should have been received several months ago.
