WESTLAND
Westland, MI (November 17, 2020) - Mayor William R. Wild announced in an effort to help decrease the spread of COVID-19, the City of Westland Administrative Offices will close to the public beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 through 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
The Mayor also announced the temporary closure of the Jefferson Barns Community Vitality Center, the Friendship Senior Center and the Mike Modano Ice Arena to the public.
The Westland Public Library will remain open with limited capacity and the 18th District Court will remain open. For the most current information and updates on other city closures and postponements, please visit http://www.cityofwestland.com
In accordance with state and federal guidelines with regards to social distancing, limits on indoor gatherings and requirements for work from home allowances, Westland City Hall will remain operational with a limited staff. Residents are encouraged to utilize the City's online services at http://www.cityofwestland.com during this time. You can also locate contact information for City Departments on the city's website. City staff will still be responding to emails and voicemails as quickly as possible.
There are also two drop boxes located in front of City Hall for residents to drop off payments and paperwork which will continue to be checked daily.
Essential government services that will continue include public safety, utilities, animal control, housing and building departments, sanitation (including trash collection), and finance.
The City of Westland has also announced the cancellation of the annual "Deck the City Hall" holiday event which was scheduled to take place on December 9.
Public meetings, including meetings of the Westland City Council will be conducted virtually.
"Per the Governor's Emergency Order, MDHHS Epidemic Order and MIOSHA Emergency Rules, it is crucial that we take these necessary precautions to protect our residents and our employees," commented Mayor William R. Wild.

INKSTER
In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to adhere to the Order issued by Governor Whitmer and the MDHHS, The Inkster City Hall, Department of Public Works and Parks & Recreation will be closed beginning November 19, 2020 until the order has been lifted.
Residents are encouraged to mail payments, utilize the payment Dropbox or visit the website at http://www.cityofinkster.com
ECORSE
CITY HALL CLOSING-LIMITED ACCESS
Due to the Governors/MIOSHA orders City Hall will be closing with all departments working remotely as of 11/18/2020 until further notice. You will however be able to get buzzed into City Hall on Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30 am to 4:30 pm to make tax and water bill payments at the Treasury window or the kiosk. However, there will be a maximum of 3 people allowed in the building at one time due to social distancing, and a face cover will be mandatory to enter the building. Please note, you will have to wait outside if there are more than 3 people until someone exits the building. ALL OTHER DEPARTMENTS WILL BE WORKING REMOTELY AND YOU WILL NEED TO CALL THAT DEPARTMENT DIRECTLY. All departments can be reached by calling 313-386-2520 and listen for the correct extension. MELVINDALE
City Hall located at 3100 Oakwood Boulevard, Melvindale, MI, has been temporarily closed to the public. However, we will still be maintaining a strong online accessible presence in order to continue to assist in providing timely and efficient services. We will be continuously monitoring our phone calls, email and mail for all incoming communication.

PAYMENTS
· Drop boxes: Residents can avoid coming inside City Hall by utilizing the 24-hour drop box. Please provide as much detail as possible, noting on the check and envelope if the payment is intended for the Building Department, Water Department, a tax bill or other purpose.
· By mail: Bill payments can be sent to the City of Melvindale through USPS.
· Online: Residents can pay online at https://bsaonline.com/?uid=387. Additional processing fees may apply.
· By telephone: Residents can pay via telephone 855-414-9017. Additional processing fees may apply.
LINCOLN PARK
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and to ensure the safety of all our citizens, municipal buildings will be closed to the public until further notice. To pay your taxes, water bills, and miscellaneous items, you have the following options:
Mail a check or place your payment in the city’s dropbox. Please do not put cash in the dropbox.
Pay by cash or check at Lincoln Park Community Credit Union located at 1400 Emmons, Lincoln Park, MI. You do not have to be a member of the credit union to utilize this service. Drive-through service only.
Pay online at citylp.com by credit card. A 3% convenience fee will be assessed. This fee is assessed by the credit card processor company and not the City of Lincoln Park.
