Who inspires you and why? My parents inspired me as I was growing up and throughout my life. Even today, my memories of them keeps me humble. My parents taught me what it felt like to be treated respectfully and insisted that's how I am to treat everyone else.

What do you remember most about growing up in the community where you did? How happy everyone in the neighborhood lived together. How friendly the neighbors were. Everyone was like family, no one went without, and people looked out for each other.

What type of activities would you like to participate in? Visit museums, musicals, symphony, and travel to different counties.

What message would you like to give to your grandchildren? To live a honest life, make sure that they set an example with their actions, even when there's no one around that might be watching them.

FAVORITE SINGER: Mario Lanza, Harry Belafonte

FAVORITE MOVIE: The Rains Came (1939), Casablanca (1942)

FAVORITE ACTOR/ACTRESS: Tyrone Power / Betty Davis

FAVORITE PERSON: I don't really have a favorite person. I never thought about an individual person as being my favorite. But today, I would have to say my grandchildren. I'm proud of what they are accomplishing on their own merit and how they have a great respect for their parents. Each one of them is my favorite person when they're in my presence!
