You know what church? There is a not-so-funny thing happening in America right before our very eyes. The devil is up to something.
Today some White people are trying to eradicate "Critical Race Theory" from being taught in our schools to their children, making them feel guilty for what their ancestors did. Even though it is not being taught in elementary or high schools and only in a law school college course, they still fear the mere thought of it.
On the other hand, Black people are trying to erase the memories and every semblance of the Confederacy. Black folks want the flags to be gone, and the statues, and whatever else, remind us of the confederacy leaders.
For either side to accomplish either of these things, America would need to erase the entire Antebellum period from 1789 to 1865. And that is not going to happen. It's history, and no matter how hard you try, you cannot erase history. It happened! America needs to accept its past misdeeds (Chattel Slavery), make reparations, and move on to better our relationships with one another before it's too late.
How do we stop Satan from dividing America further and prevent its eventual downfall? What America and Americans must do about our horrible history is learn from it, repair the breaches, and move forward. The devil is in America, and he is sowing seeds of division because he knows that a house divided against itself cannot stand. He knows what the word of the Lord says. He does not live it, but he knows it.
Church, this is what Jesus prayed concerning us in these last days.
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one- I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." John 17:20-26
Church Jesus wants us to show the world how to be one. Let us show the world how to heal the divides that seek to destroy us. As Jesus said in His sermon on the mount, let us be the peacemakers that Jesus said we are on the mountain. We have the power; all we need to do is what the Lord Jesus told us to do, and that is to "deny ourselves, take up His cross, and follow Him." Jesus wants us to be His visible verbal light and salt witness for Him in these last dark and terrible days in America. He wants us to be that great light that has sprung up among them.
With all the love in Jesus
