Members of the Detroit Downriver APRI Chapter in support of the Black Vote Matters organization attended the 57th Anniversary of the Bloody Sunday March in Selma Alabama in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This historic event depicted in the movie Selma tells of the mechanisms put in place to get the passing of the 1965 Voters Rights Act.
