Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber presents the Annual Women of Achievement Awards

The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber will proudly recognize some of the most outstanding women in our region. The event honors women in Downriver business leadership, and inspires our next generation of female leaders. The honorees are; Gina Wilson Steward - "Kyle F. Stack Leadership Award," Jessica Bazner - "Entrepreneur Award," and Lisa Rutledge - "Unsung Heroine Award!" The Chamber will also honor an emerging young professional in our community with the "Distinguished Young Woman Award". This years' Honoree is Alyssa Angellotti.

*New for 2022; the event will feature a Frontline Heroes Panel Conversation, powered by PNC Bank. The panel will provide an inspirational discussion with frontline leaders highlighting their personal stories of heroism throughout the COVID pandemic. The panelist are; Jenna Dickerson, Amy DiBrano and F. F. Courtney Gutierrez.

The emcee for the event is Christy McDonald. She is an Emmy-Award winning TV anchor and journalist who has covered news in Detroit and Michigan for 25 years. For the past 10 years, she was Managing Editor/Anchor for WTVS Detroit PBS One Detroit

This exciting event will feature a grand awards ceremony and luncheon complete with recipient videos!

"This signature event has become one of our region's most highly anticipated celebrations of the year," said Ronald Hinrichs, president/CEO of the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber. "I am thrilled to congratulate the 2022 recipients and nominees. These remarkable women exemplify tremendous leadership and demonstrate a passionate commitment to improving our Downriver community.

The event will be held on Friday, October 14th.
