George William Weaver was born in Detroit and graduated from Northeastern High School and attended Highland Park Community College. George worked for the City of Detroit Wastewater and Sewage Dept and retired after serving over 25 years. He loved to dance and loved most genres of music. He was an avid reader and loved knowledge. He was a person of deep thought and could talk on many subjects.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his family and a host of other relatives and friends.

Final arrangements were

entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home in Detroit.
