BooKoo Creations has something for everyone

Gabriel Bosket, Las Vegas born, eastside Detroit residence, is the business owner and creator of BooKoo Creations. He as of today has a skill set in operating heavy machinery, graphic design, 3D printing and engraving. "I never seen a machine before, but I always watched the show How It's Made," says Bosket's about his work environment. He realized, "This like the show but I'm in it now." As a kid Bosket watched How It's Made faithfully. His duty is part of how things are made as he elevated in his career from a Packer to Business Owner.

Bosket first design was a Black Lives Matter keychain with a man and his hands up. He received a great response, so much so he bought another machine for the demands. Bosket wants to make an invention that blows his mind. He is learning and specifying his offers. "I'm in the process of getting everything to a certain list of things. Its so many things I could do I don't want to get confused or overwhelm myself with too much because right now it is just me," he says. Bosket enjoys making earrings, "Its more therapeutic." It is hopeful earrings will remain on the list.

Here Bosket shares about himself and life as a business owner.

1. What do you want people to know about you? I attended two high schools which till this day plays a major role in my life due to the number of people I know. I attended Cass Technical High School during my freshman and sophomore years. Unfortunately, I was dismissed from Cass Tech due to my low performance in grades. However, fortunately, I was able to attend South Eastern High School of Technology during my junior and senior years of high school, from which I graduated with honors. I attended one university after high school, which was Eastern Michigan University, unfortunately I didn't finish college due to financial reasons.

2.What certificates, training, or merits do you have? To fast forward in life, I've been currently operating stamping machines for a decade, which has led me to learning new skills and understanding the concept of machine learning. As of today, I have a skill set in operating heavy machinery, and graphic design. I'm currently taking a computer science course for coding, which will help improve and take my ideas to the next level.

3.What or who influences and motivates you? One thing that I truly believe is that self-motivation is the best motivation. My family, my loved ones, and knowing it's more to life than the city you live in, is what motivates me.

4.Describe your average workday. On an average, a normal workday for me consists of clocking into work from 7am through 3pm. Throughout those work hours, I research a lot of information from sources varying from books, Google, YouTube, Facebook, etc. After 3 p.m., I go home and work on planned things from designs, making physical products, marketing, etc. Bookoo creations, was created from a piece of knowledge I was given by one of my former co-workers.

5.How did you get started? A man named Marcell introduced me into 3D printing. He didn't know much about it, however for some reason, he knew I would be good at it. I researched 3D printing on YouTube for about 6 months before I bought my first actual 3D printer, I was intrigued! Not even months after I bought my first 3D printer, I was introduced to laser engraving.

6.Who is Bookoo? Why the name? BooKoo Creations is a very unique word, the word actually means what is says, Bookoo, creations. Remember though, it's just one word. Bookoo is a term that defines having an abundance of something. The creations part of the word just represents my own creations. I can create a lot of things. Everything I create is designed by myself. So, with that being said, BooKoo Creations is an abundance of my creations! I create ideas into tangible products.

7.What is your company? Bookoo offers several services, but everything is mostly customized products.

8.When did you realize that need in service? A lot of businesses and people use my services. I create things such as signage, keychains, name tags, magnets, hats, earrings, stamps, custom gifts, puzzles, acrylic led lights, vases, figurines, prototypes, and etc.
