My life is a life of gratitude all the time. Although I have a testimony, I am extremely grateful because of God's grace and love for me, that is why I am blessed. I am so grateful for all my loving family, church and friends who care for me and treat me kind. I am thankful to be able to eat food every day and live in a comfortable home. I have gratitude in being able to do for others. These are some of the things I am thankful for, I could not ask for more.

I am thankful this year for the simple things in life. I don't have to wait until the last Thursday in November to say, "Thank You!" However, since we are in the season, I will share why I am thankful. I am thankful for my family, my wonderful wife, and D3 Gabrielle, John II, and Nicholas who are vital to making our house a home. I am thankful for my blessed church family, GMBC, and I am blessed to Pastor a wonderful group of disciples of Jesus over the last 21 years. My life has been enhanced since the moment God sent me to GMBC. I am extremely thankful for those who live like Jesus and fight against injustices everywhere. I am thankful that God has given me a spirit that doesn't ignore injustice and will always seek liberation over the status quo.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to try to make things better for the people I love and care for. I'm a strong believer that God places his people in places where they can do the most good in this world. If I helped at least one person in my journey, I'm thankful for that.
I'm also thankful to wake up every morning with purpose, strength and a heart to serve.

There are many things I am grateful for this year specially, but one of the things that stick out most is that I'm Grateful for the love I have in my life. God has blessed me to be surrounded by people who truly love me. Every time I may have needed help or anything there was always a family member or a friend there to lend a hand. For that I am forever grateful, and I am always looking to help someone else just as someone has helped me!

I am first of all thankful for the mother and father that raised me to be grateful for each day in spite of the circumstances. I'm then abundantly grateful for the friends and the colleagues, including those of the Telegram. The treasure of having people that can be trusted and insightful is one of the greatest appreciations one can have in life. I am abundantly grateful for the opportunity through the media industry to expose and experience witnessing history and sharing our community, our stories our way; educating and informing us so we can and we will always be creative successful kings and queens that are winners. And for that I am grateful.
Rev. Gary Hunter

As I look over my life from my youth to my present age of 60yrs old, I can only thank God for what He has done for me. I am thankful for the hedge of protection that was placed around me as I learned about manhood during the epidemic of 80's to mid 90's and growing up without a father in my life and not much of a nuclear family. I am thankful for my liberty NEVER being taken from me, when I saw many young men,(close friends and family), lose their lives, let alone their liberty. I was not always the man people see today, "BUT GOD" saw what I could not see. He has called me out of the World to do a work for Him and now God calls me His Friend, for that I am THANKFUL.
Rev. Marquis Jackson

With everything going on in the world, and in our lives, with as busy as we are, this season gives us an extra opportunity to reflect and express the things we are thankful for. For me, I am thankful for my family, my health, my friends, the relationships built, the endeavors pursued, and even the endeavors ected. I am always thankful for every moment granted, but mostly, for the year 2023, I am thankful for the people.
In 2023, voices that didn't think their views matter began to speak up, realizing the power and strength they have. I am thankful for their empowered voice. I am thankful for community and their desire for better. I am thankful for every moment each person puts forward for one another.
This has truly been a successful year, especially because the people connected and unified. And, I am joyfully thankful for each and every one of these amazing moments.

What am I thankful for, It's not what I am thankful for but I am thankful for the season of Thanksgiving. What can we say bad about this Holiday. It's not based on religion background, political party, or church denomination. It's not based on race or riches; it is just a time when the World stops for a day to say THANKS. This day is centered around food, great family conversation and showered with lots of Love. So know where you are at in life or what you are going through and if you haven't told God thanks in a while, now is a good time to tell Him Thanks because you and I are still here.
Pastor Arthur Willis
