Top Ladies Announce Women's Empowerment Expo Status of Women Highlighted

Inkster, Michigan- April 14, 2024 - The Michigan Metro Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated announces its first annual Women's Empowerment Expo to be held on June 8, 2024 at Robichaud High School located at 3601 Janet Street in Dearborn Heights. The event's doors open at 9:00 a.m. for the event that will feature guest speakers, workshops, demonstrations and vendors. The event is free to the public and registration can be found on Eventbrite.

The event is being presented under the chapter's Status of Women Committee which is chaired by Connie R. Mitchell. The status of women is a very important part of the work of the chapter and its national organization which is comprised of women who are engaged in community service that transforms the lives of not only women, but men and children as well.

Since 1983, the organization has had an impact on the lives of senior citizens, women, community beautification, literacy, and healthcare while engaging in partnerships with other organizations in the community. It's major program is sponsorship of the Top Teens of America Chapter of Michigan Metro, a co-ed group designed to mentor youth ages 13-18.
